Michael Stephen Fuchs holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Virginia, has worked in the Internet Industry almost exactly as long as there’s been an Internet Industry, and owns several very nice handguns. Consequently, all of the computer stuff, gun stuff, and philosophical stuff in the book can be taken as, erm, reasonably reliable. The Manuscript is his first novel. He is also the author of Pandora's Sisters, also published by Macmillan; the short story collection Don't Shoot Me in the Ass and Other Stories; and the forthcoming military techno-thriller D-Boys. He is represented by Robert Gottlieb at Trident Media in New York. He lives in London and at www.michaelfuchs.org.
